My newest novel, Outlandish, will be available on September 15, 2026. Here’s what it’s about:

She isn’t who she thinks she is. Lori Schneider, Wisconsin school librarian and chronic illness sufferer, is optimistic that she and her estranged husband Steve will get back together during a vacation trip to Scotland. Steve Schneider thinks killing his wife in Scotland will be easy and win him the big bucks, but Steve hasn’t killed before, and he isn’t very clever. When Lori suffers an accident in Scotland, she wakes up believing she is Anna-Linnea, the vigorous and confident protagonist in the novel she is writing. Scottish policeman Alex MacKinnon wasn’t looking for love but suspects that Anna-Linnea might be his perfect match. From Scotland to Wisconsin and back again, join our heroine and hero in a story that is simply Outlandish.
